Series IntelligenceElectromagnetic FlowmeterIt is an electromagnetic induction flow meter composed of sensors and intelligent signal converters. It can measure the volumetric flow rate of various conductive liquids, including highly corrosive liquids such as acids, alkalis, salts, pulp, slurry, wastewater, seawater, and solid-liquid two-phase liquids. This product is mainly used in industries such as petrochemicals, steel, electricity, metallurgy, textiles, food, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, as well as in municipal environmental protection, water conservancy, and other fields.
Product Classification LTLDE
The series of intelligent electromagnetic flow meters consists of sensors and intelligent signal converters. According to the assembly form of the converter and sensor, they can be divided into two structures: integrated and separated.
Integrated: The converter and sensor are directly assembled as a whole and cannot be separated. Commonly used in sites with good environmental conditions.
Split type: The converter is composed of a dedicated cable and a sensor to form a product, with the sensor installed on site and the converter installed in a location with better conditions. Commonly used in sites with poor environmental conditions, such as underground wells, high temperatures, and places that are difficult for personnel to reach.
Three measurement principles
The working principle is based on Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction. That is, when a conductor moves in a cutting magnetic field, an induced electromotive force is generated in the conductor, and the induced electromotive force UE is
The sensor has a simple structure, no throttling device, no blockage, and is suitable for measuring liquids containing solid particles, fibers, and suspended solids.
There are multiple options for liquid contact materials, which can be used for measuring various corrosive liquids.
It can be installed horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, as long as the measuring tube is filled with liquid and free of bubbles.
The measurement range is wide, with a ratio of 100:1, and the range can be modified.
On site zero calibration is possible without affecting measurement accuracy.
Low power consumption, less than 7W.
On site LCD displays instantaneous flow rate, cumulative flow rate, flow percentage, fluid flow rate, and fault alarm.
The Chinese menu allows for parameter viewing and modification according to prompts, and the four button functions can be set by the software at any time, making it easy to learn.
Fault self diagnosis can achieve air traffic control judgment alarm, excitation fault alarm, over range alarm, and output signal fault alarm.

Six Selection Guidelines
1 caliber selection
The diameter of the flowmeter should be the same as that of the process pipeline. If in the following two situations:
① The flow rate inside the pipeline is too low to meet the flow meter's requirements for the flow rate range or to achieve high measurement accuracy at this flow rate.
② The medium is prone to adhere to the pipe wall, which affects the normal use of the flowmeter.
You can choose a flow meter with a diameter smaller than the process pipeline, but you need to do a good job of reducing the diameter.

5 Grounding Ring Selection (Liquid Ring)
A standard grounding ring: Grounding rings must be installed on both sides of sensors on plastic and cathodic protection pipelines. (See Figure a)
B with neck protection ring: If the medium has strong wear resistance, a neck protection ring should be selected to protect the lining. (See Figure b)

The grounding ring material is stainless steel 1Cr18Ni9Ti. Special requirements will be specified separately when ordering.
6. Selection of shell protection level
The enclosure protection level of the integrated flowmeter is IP65, the sensor part of the split flowmeter is IP68, and the converter part is IP6
Determination of 7-split type
In harsh environments such as stagnant water, corrosion, high and low temperatures, strong vibrations, and inconvenient maintenance, a split type flowmeter must be selected. Only one cable is needed to connect the converter and sensor, and the specific length should be confirmed with the manufacturer when ordering. Otherwise, only 5 meters will be provided at the factory.
For other situations, an integrated flowmeter can be used.
When unsure, consult the manufacturer.
8 Determination of output signal
The flowmeter can choose to output 4~20mADC or 0~1kHz or RS485 separately, or choose various combinations of three signals at the same time. In addition, when selecting 4-20mA output, HART communication can also be optionally selected.
Determination of 9-range (scale flow rate)
The range should be greater than the maximum flow rate actually used, and the commonly used flow rate should be within the range of 1/3 to 4/5 of the range (preferably greater than 1/2 of the range).
The BSD1 flowmeter can modify the range within the measurement range to meet the convenience of on-site use for users and reduce spare parts storage.
